In this very informative and positive seminar, Grant Lawrence, a long time musician and CBC Radio 3 music journalist, will share the secrets of making friends with the media, writing a great press release, giving the best interview, and how to use all the latest social networking tools that maximize publicity possibilities. Remember that a great relationship with the media is just as important as a great relationship with the fans.

Your music is the best marketing tool you have… or is it? This panel of songwriters, producers and industry reps will offer feedback on your most important work: your music! CD drop off will take place at the BreakOut West registration desk and will close at 11AM SHARP on Sunday October 24th. Please submit songs on audio CD and include four hard copies of lyrics. Due to time contstraints some songs may not be reviewed.
