This opening keynote will be a way for the speakers to illustrate to the audience what the days’ workshops will entail and help to set the theme for the day. Today’s workshops are primarily related to live performance and touring topics and this keynote will offer a general discussion about marketing in todays’ music business and discuss some new developments in that area.

Your music is the best marketing tool you have… or is it? This panel of songwriters, producers and industry reps will offer feedback on your most important work: your music! CD drop off will take place at the BreakOut West registration desk and will close at 11AM SHARP on Sunday October 24th. Please submit songs on audio CD and include four hard copies of lyrics. Due to time contstraints some songs may not be reviewed.

A live performance can make you or break you as an artist. This live performance coaching session will illustrate what you should be doing to lock in and maintain your audience’s attention as well as what not to do while performing. This coaching session will also include tips and tricks on how to plan your stage, how to design a proper set list and how to conduct yourself during a soundcheck.
